Autobreakers.co.uk is part of the recycling.co.uk group. Founded in Preston in 1961, the group has grown to become one of the largest and most reputable scrap metal recyclers in the north-west. Autobreakers.co.uk began as an old fashioned scrap yard selling parts locally in 2002. We have grown to become a major player in the UK mail order car parts market. Now employing 20 people we are big enough to cope with most requests and small enough to be able to give the personal touch which our customers are looking for.
How Does It Work?
With 3 stripping bays running full-time we are able to add dozens of parts to our website every day. These parts are then available to purchase online and can be despatched by courier for delivery to your address. We also have a large stock of vehicles which are waiting to be stripped for parts. That means if you can’t find the part you are after in the parts section you can ring us to check if we have it on an unstripped car. We will check the cars we have for the part you require. They are then stripped to order and despatched via courier too. Obviously, if you are local to one of our depots you can call in to collect any new or used part that you need.
How Much Can You Save?
It depends on what you are looking for really. Suffice to say that used parts will cost a great deal less than any new part bought from a dealer or garage. We can also supply lots of new parts at prices which are very competitive too.
